The project was co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 under the "Environment, Energy and Climate Change" program, program area: Environment/ Energy/ Climate.

The project implementation includes the modernization of a set of water turbines generating electricity in a small hydro power station. The existing installation is in a bad technical condition and requires high operating costs. Currently, the hydro power station does not use its hydro energy potential. The project complies with the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2018/2001 of 11th December 2018, as well as the Strategy for Responsible Development until 2020.

As part of the project, a new electricity production technology will be installed in form of two Kaplan Z-type water turbines. The power of the new RES installation is 0.820 MWe. Additionally, the associated installations and devices will be replaced. As part of the project, information and educational activities will be introduced to promote energy security and the production of electricity from renewable energy sources (hydro power station).

Project plan achieve: reduction of CO2 emissions, increase of the part of renewable electricity production, reduction of electricity consumption, increase of the awareness of society about the energetic effectiveness.

The recipients of the project's effects will be: society, energy recipients, trained experts and employees of the Applicant, local community.

The current value of the Project: PLN 10 452 917,61

The amount of co-financing: PLN 2 786 127,43, including:

  • from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021 in the amount of PLN 2 331 004.78;
  • from the national budget in the amount of PLN 491 669,56.
